Some people are fortunate enough to discover what they love at an early age and then turn it into a career. Cathy Crouse of CC Hair Designer is one of those people. Cathy has always enjoyed fashion and beauty. She began her career in high school by landing an apprenticeship at Jolie Salon and Day Spa where she quickly advanced to stylist and developed her own style.
Her passion for beauty and style drives Cathy to stay on top of today’s fashions. She regularly attends New York City hair shows, seminars, and high-level classes such as Wella Professionals and Vidal Sassoon. Being a part of Prive Salon has also given Cathy the ability to take her knowledge and techniques to a whole new level. Cathy is constantly learning and growing as a hair designer, ensuring she’s prepared to give her clients the latest styles so they can look and feel their best.

Every appointment is a consultation. Cathy begins each appointment by listening to her client – in fact, listening is an integral part of Cathy’s consultative approach to hair design. Many, but not all, clients have an idea of how they want their hair. Sometimes this means they know the exact cut, color, and style they’re looking for, but other times it’s more of an overall “look” or feeling they want to achieve. Cathy often asks follow-up questions to further explore the “look” a client hopes to achieve, and to ensure they are on the same page. This is where Cathy’s extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of everything hair truly benefits clients.
